Robbie Tolan Portrait "Stairwell of Memory" (2022)

Commissioned by the Houston Museum of African American Culture, Cedric's portrait of Robbie Tolan joins the museum's "Stairwell of Memory" honoring  local figures that were victims of injustice at the hands of the law enforcement.

"Art Capsule" (2022)

Chosen as 1 of 5 artist around the world by French fashion house Zadig&Voltaire, Cedric was commissioned to create designs for the brand's 25th Anniversary capsule in 2022.

Zadig&Voltaire Customization Event (2021)

A joint collaboration with Black Art In America


Cedric Ingram linked up with designer brand, Zadig & Voltaire to create customized shoes and apparel and conducted a live demonstration in the Houston River Oaks ZV location on March 27, 2021. Cedric also created and updated the "Art is Hope" Logo for Zadig & Voltaire in the spring of 2021.






With the task of custom painting select Zadig & Voltaire products Cedric coupled his artistic flair with the designer brand's urban style. With high tops and a matching bag, shoes that represented France, and a bag that was a dedication to Billie Holiday, Cedric did a live demonstration at the Houston River Oaks storefront on March 27, 2021.

Zadig&Voltaire x LA Dance Project Gala (2021)

Commissioned by Zadig&Voltaire, Cedric custom painted the brand's signature sneaker the "High Flash" inspired by the Los Angeles Dance Project for their October 2021 Gala. The shoes were auctioned off at the Gala to benefit the foundation.

Houston Museum of African American Culture Contribution to Mayoral Initiative (2020)


2020 was a very difficult year. With the pandemic hitting, it definitely impacted predominant communities of color hardest. In conjunction with the Houston Museum of African American Culture, Cedric participated in the Mask Up! initiative to stress the importance of people to make the proper precautions to protect themselves and others in Houston with the support of Mayor Sylvester Turner.
